finally back from ncc spec course camp ! 4 days 3 night damn bloody long la i'll die if its 5 day lor
wanted to post about my camp yesterday but my mother started scolding me when she came home yesterday bloody hell i was like damn tired already and she still wants to nag NAG NAG NAG freaking irritating make me have headache then when im using the computer she just tild me to get away cos she wants to use it walau cant she tell me nicely just chase me away like that but its okay la i go take potato chips to snack i didnt eat dinner ma then after my mum finish using the computer, she told me that i can use it now she walk towards me and just took the potato chips away from me what the hell this time i was super pissed already la whatever i do she also wants to snatch with me at that time i was quite tired already both mentally and physically so i just cried lor then she continued scolding make me so pissed so i just went into my room to rest and talk to people after a while my mum just came into the room say i tired already still can talk to people then she took away my phone and ended my call fucker after that make me go pack my bag the camp bag lor then while im packing she still want to nag freaking hell make me cry more but also good cos i wanted to cry already but couldnt i was so disappointed that i didnt get 2nd sergeant i got only a 3rd despite my attempts very disappointing
shall talk about my camp now from day 1 to day 4
day 1: went to school to change into no.4 then set off to HQ NCC then there they ask us to surrender all the proibited items i thought they will check through the stuff we surrender then return those which is okay so i just surrender my non-camera phone lor how stupid can i get in the end never get back actually can use de lor
after that we took a bus to SISPEC going to stay there we got seperated into our platoons and i was in the same platoon with khairul at least i know someone there hehe there's also cresent girls and RVHS last time go for camp feast i met them already their standard very good especially cresent but they shout like boys even though they are girls the boys dont like haha
the first thing we did was put bags in bunk then march off to somewhere for lecture then while marching, got this hwachong guy did the song impress me he was the first to give me a good impression in the platoon and his timing quite good after that another hwachong do also but timing suck screw the whole march the lecture was about the things to take note in sispec lor those usual stuff la
after that go back eat lunch and then go back to that place to hear opening adress this time that hwa chong person asked me for my name cos during lunch i very qiao sit beside him then pass him stuff and all these lor he was the first person i know and then the girls cresent and RV but most deep impression was the hwachong person whose name is jingkai at first i head jie kai then i was quite shocked cos i know other people by the name of jiekai ma
talking about lunch after lunch there's this GSK revision General Specialist Knowledge then got someone ask about factors affecting judging distances then most of them shout one answer at a time then i raise up my hand and talk about all the factors so awesome cos the sir was impressed ask for my school hehe
anyway, it was three talks at a go the first one i didnt sleep the second was about ncc core values surprisingly it was quite ineteresting but i dozed off at the third one cos it was about someone's journey in NCC doesnt really interest me then at the back part i started dozing off but quickly wake up cos im sitting on the front row very obvious de i cant help it though i just slept after that we had the GSK test walau got some questions i never heard before de la i just try lor
after that march back to the company line for dinner
then after that go to bunk then put bags clean up the place put bedsheets and stuff the bed is awesome man i love it so nice then pillow so fluffy the cupboard also very nice spacious i like the bunk ! but i dont like the toilet bowl haha the toilet overall quite nice though and there's a lot of showering time! whoooo first time lor i can slowly bathe and wash my hair
sispec is nice!!
the food caterer suck though hate the food
day 2: morning physical training was slack its just 20 jumping jacks, push ups and sit ups then finish le haha cool love it there's no running lor thankfully
we had trainfire and ifc test trainfire was first actually i revise until quite sure de but i was the last few then got some people keep asking me questions until i also super blur
anyway, we had stripping of rifle first the first try was quite fast then slower for the second try the third was the actual one and i did it even slower! wtf kind of pissed la also dont know what overcame me i just became slower and slower each time also, there is assembling the first two tries i did it correctly but on the third time i cocked up and did something wrong seriously horrible
and next was loading and unloading of rifle it was okay la so so lor
after that it was IA drills also not bad
lastly fundamentals of marksmanship first time in 3 years that 10cent coin drop idotic but it was out of carelessness so i had another try hehe and i passed
we had lunch and this time its much better the portion was always huge and i cant finish it eat 1/4 only
after that was ifc i had much more confidence in this cos its much easier
however i hate movement by day have to do all those crawl and stuff i cant do it! other than that, the rest was quite easy
the whole day just do this 2 test nia too much waiting involved sit until got cramp
then at night got lecture again but i forgot whats that
day 3: had morning training again the same thing hehe i like it so slack
after that it was the mutal trainfire was first again i did characteristics of the M16 i was the front few so it was not bad la i think i did quite a good job
my platoon mates say very good she can understand what i say hear already i of course happy la
finish already then i started to be timer previous 2 days never do any stuff to shine so now must chiong liao never be timer also because the platoon 50 people a lot i scared my voice not loud enough and i cannot hold on for a long time in kranji only got 20 people ma and my voice already not that loud liao let alone 50 people so a bit insecure la but my RV friend told me to chiong so i just try lor
then after lunch my sir ask me to take over as IC for the platoon i very scared cos i never be IC before i scared i cock up or something but since my sir told me to be means he thinks i got potential so i must do well lor or else i cant get my rank i tried my best but i still very blur leh i never command before so bit cock up la
but they say okay la i hope so
by wed i already quite familiar with my platoon mates liao can talk cock with them liao haha they say among the chinese girls im the best cos the rest dont talk one especially cresent girls their standard very high they dont slack shout also very not nice then the RV girl also not bad la but her shouting very sharp haha
jingkai say girls should not shout like that lol then when i be timer and be IC, i wonder if i shout like a guy too but hor, other platoon de guys heard me shouting and say, finally got girl shout like girl haha of course la im a girl what
after lunch was IFC mutal i got more confidence for this lor but very sad cos this time im one of the last few some of them very sian le but i still think i did okay cos i got pictures and stuff and some additional methods
at night they change another timer but i volunteered to conduct water parade when the sir wants it haha i shout until i feel like dying totally strained voice like no more liao then very tired
there was lecture again about discipline and also roles of specialists quite okay la
at night slept at like 11 plus actually lights out 11 de but i talk to the RV girls lor cos i realised that the cresent girls IFC mutal very alike all the same style then i double check with other platoon those that got the same topic hor , did the same stuff for their mutal so we all talk about them lor gossip my forte lol but cos i very tired so i went to sleep first and i was the last to wake up in my bunk la normally im the first few lor so you know how tired i was just because i was the timer/IC/conduct water parade lucky i got strepsils so my throat wasnt that bad
day 4: no morning pt today la ! rejoice!
this time we fall in with no.4 uniform cos do stuff ma
first had breakfast
then see weapons from the infantry unit i wasnt really interested la so i just stand there lor listen one ear in another ear out lol
see all these till lunch boring almost dozed off again haha
sat with jingkai then we keep chatting lol dont know why but suddenly got a lot of topics to talk about hahaha
after that got talk by saf person about the diff units in the army this time also sit beside jingkai also keep chatting
last day le ma never chat then no chance haha but we really chat like nobody's business lol
after that go back have parade award presentation first for trainfire best, ifc best, gsk best, best cadet in each platoon, best cadet for the company(there are 2 companies) and overall best cadet derek did kranji ncc proud man! got best for ifc leh cool wonder how he did it can say im impressed so if he is selected as kranji's company leader i also not surpirsed although i'll be a little upset cos there goes my chance la the award presentation was quite an eye opener cos i didnt experience it before quite jealous i also want to receive best cadet award i regretted not showing better standard and for starting so late only 3rd day the chiong
i was still kind of hopeful that i could get 2nd sgt then after the award presentation it was issuing of rank then after all get we were told to open up the envelop and see what rank we got my heart sank i got only a 3rd it was really depressing la i did try for that rank but sadly, i wasnt recognised
a lot of people in my platoon say i confirm get 2nd sgt but they got shocked when i didnt hais i wanted to cry but at that time reality havent sunk into me yet i couldnt cry out hais i really wanted that rank..
after that we slack around then assemble at that time jingkai asked me for my contact haha he was like asking me, does your CO allow you to exchange contact number then i was like, i think its okay the situation quite funny i saw the shy side of him hahaha then i was asking, what do you want he said up to me lol
after that got other people ask me also hahaha
last time i go camp feast nobody ask me make me so upset cos i very quiet
such a long post let me sum up everything though i was upset that i didnt get my 2nd sgt rank i improved a lot during these 4 days
this camp helped me improve relationships with other schools initially i was afraid i cant communicate with the people there actually at first i wasnt really interacting but after lunch i already got 2 people names jing kai and shu mei shu mei is from cresent
then after that i knew faye from river valley she's a nice person but with a very high standard of discipline she was the one that showed me that river valley school ncc unit is good
and then i knew jovinna from cresent girls nice girl she is
and then slowly i knew other guys joeash cool name very cute also
and then gordon from hwachong cos he was the IC and he did a good job i didnt talk to him though he was super quiet and i dont know what to say
and then it was the malay girls fatimah and radiana at first i found them irritating cos they bombarded me with questions while we're preparing for the test but they appreciated my help which was what touched me they thanked me for whatever i helped them in even praised me made me so remourseful for thinking that they're irritating
and then it was the malay guys cos they everytime kajiao me but i was fine with it then they say im cool the best among all the chinese girls hehe i was flattered of course
then on the last day the breakfast was muffins then there's this malay guy in front of me that eat a lot of muffin 6 leh i was like so shocked then the person beside me say he crazy about cakes haha very cute lor he cannot eat already but still continue eating cos he loves cakes haha i forgot his name though
oh i know this ACS(I) guy i forgot his name but i got impression of him his eyebrowns make him look very fierce cos at the end its like curved up but when he become IC right, he was very soft with us
