back from senior specialist course i enjoyed it but at the same time, i was disappointed
talk about why i was disappointed first i went to senior spec with the aim of being the best cadet for my platoon
i can say that i did my best
i was the so-called permanent timer appointed by the CLT i shouted till i was able to use my diaphragm
i performed my very best it was one of the rare times i performed so well
i could choose to report sick but just take my mutals im still able to get my rank
but i choose the hard way i didnt care about my back despite it was injured i endured it throughout
there were times i couldnt take it i reported sick but only for a short while
i volunteered, took initiative, did everything i could
i was elated that i was shortlisted as the best cadet in my platoon but along with other good ones too
i passed the rifle drill along with yangcheng from hwachong, shumei from cresent, qiao wei from river valley and haziq from the sea district
all of them were good yangcheng was the ASM, shumei the CSM, qiao wei and haziq the USM
know already feel like fainting
we then proceeded to the parade square to shout commands from a distance haha so easy so many echoes
but it was my footdrill that was the problem the sir didnt want the timing and i found it hard to coordinate with the rest
must blame it on myself must drill more liao
i'll make sure the next batch of part c going for spec course will get at least a best cadet award i'll do it
looking on the brighter side, i really learnt a lot during this course
i learnt advanced drills, pace stick drill and more knowledge about NCC it was really beneficial la
most importantly, i learnt to be more independant haha
how stupid i slept without any buddy during the camp meaning i slept alone but with a stranger not exactly a stanger la just that we didnt know each other
because the malays had to wake up early in the morning, they were allocated to another bunk since im the only chinese girl, im like left alone with people with other units i didnt talk much in the bunk
anyway, i love camps organised by HQ NCC hahaha must attend more courses!
